Besides the new items that you can get in update 3.1 of Genshin Impact, you can also discover several new areas to enter. In fact, there are total 3 ranges that you can find in the new desert area of Sumero. However, you will need to unlock them all first before you can head inside.

How to unlock all Sumero Desert 3.1 domains in Jinshin Effect
As mentioned, there are three new domains in the new desert area. This is the endless pillared garden, the red desert threshold, and the altar of the mirage. Here’s how to unlock all of them:
Endless pillared garden
You can find this area in the northwestern part of the Sumero Desert. Here, you will get a large number of lots like Primogems and more when you complete the field. To unlock this, you’ll need to solve the nearby Pyro Totems puzzle.
There are 5 pyro totems that you need to activate to unlock the domain. However, there is a certain order you need to follow to activate them properly.
Specifically, you’ll want to look for a totem without flaming flowers next to it for your first goal. Once you find it, make sure it hits Pyro’s attack.
Next, you will need to find the totem next to which there is one flaming flower, then the totem with two flowers, and so on. In case you were wondering, flaming flowers are those little flowers with a fiery glow as you can see in the photo above.
After all the totems are activated, a wonderful chest will appear. At the same time, the entrance to the endless colonnaded garden will open.
red desert threshold
For this, you will need to go through the mission of Golden Slumber. To start the mission, head to Aaru Village and find Bonifaz, a yellow-shirted NPC. Talk to him and end the conversation, after which he will give you the task.
Then, you simply have to follow the sign as this will lead you to the domain. At the end of the corridor, you will see a huge hole in the ground. Go down into the hole and make your way down to where you can find the entrance to the domain.
You don’t have to do anything to unlock it. All you have to do is get close to the door and interact with it to open it.
altar of mirage
This is a bit long as it requires you to complete the Golden Slumber quest earlier. This will light up the avatars on the crimson sand board. Apart from that, you must also complete the double guide mission.
Completing these two will light up the entire board which will then give you full access to every door that can be opened.
After that, you have to go to Khemenu Temple which is located a little east of Deshret Mausoleum. Head inside the temple, turn right and head into the smaller interior. Keep moving forward until you come across a doorway closed by a door on a pedestal outside.
Simply interact with the book to open the door. Next, drop the hole in the ground, and you will be able to find the entrance to the sphere at the bottom. Simply interact with it to unlock it.
