The new Sumero area is huge, and this is evidenced by the presence of different areas for you to explore. One such area is the desert that lies west of Sumero. However, this area will appear in black on your map. To detect it, you have to visit the desert area first.
In this guide, I will show you exactly how you can get to the desert area and reveal it on the map.
Genshin Impact Desert Map Entrance Location
To get there, you’ll want to head to Caravan Rivat which is located a bit to the northwest from the Dahri ruins. You can find his location here in this photo:
On the map, you will also find the sign of the statue of the Seven. Once you reach Cavaran Ribat, all you have to do is follow the path and proceed further with the sign tracking.
Once you find the statue of the Seven, interact with it. This will then reveal half of the entire desert area on the map for easier exploration. Also, a little further away is the village of Aaru where you can accept missions from some NPCs.
