Cardi B and Akbar V had a heated discussion on social media on Monday that involved several allegations, as well as sharing a personal phone number and an alleged sex tape.

Akbar seemingly started the feud by questioning the success of Cardi’s new remix with Glorilla, “Tomorrow 2,” released last week.
“Count all chart data posted,” he wrote in a series of tweets. “I don’t really like internet games… My dms is open and so are the streets!”

The back-and-forth continued, with Cardi sharing Akbar’s personal phone number and Akbar reprimanding the unnamed person who gave Cardi the numbers in a blasphemous tweet.

“Now my kids have to re-watch this on @iamcardib, in retrospect they were wrong because they re-uploaded porn about me and they were so down but Kool…. just shook me back in fear…” Akbar wrote.
At one point, Cardi admitted to contacting Akbar directly, accusing her online rival of publicizing the fight via Twitter.

Parenting skills were also discussed between the two, with Bronx-born Cardi seemingly stating that she’s always taken care of her kids (albeit in less polite terms). Akbar replied that she didn’t have the same opportunities as Cardi in terms of parenting, arguing that unlike Cardi, she didn’t wait for motherhood when she was famous and wealthy.

Although Cardi deleted the clip from the sex tape, she later stated in a message that she was upset after learning that Akbar had used a still from the video for a single cover.
The feud began to calm down Monday afternoon after Cardi quoted Akbar on Twitter, adding the caption, “I’m from the Bronx…Highbridge to be exact…you.”
At the time of going to press, Cardi’s last tweet hinting at the switch was a video of herself in a car from her single Tomorrow 2.
“Say you love me,” Cardi said in the video, quoting a line from Akbar’s alleged leaked tape. “Say you love me Bardi gang.”
